Draw customers with these incentives during the holidays
Today's holiday shoppers are even more penny pinching than in past years. As consumers search for low prices and special offers, offering perks during the holiday season can make your business stand out from the crowd.
  • Discounts—Give a percentage off the purchase of your products or service. Even a small percentage can go a long way in convincing consumers to choose your business.
  • Free Shipping—According to Forrester Research, 75 percent of customers prefer to shop with an online retailer that offers free shipping. Don't let your competitors snatch your business this holiday because they're offering free shipping and you aren't.
  • Easy Billing—If your product or service is priced on the high side, consider allowing your customers to split their entire payment up into smaller, more manageable payments. An easy billing option can make consumers feel at ease with their large purchase.
  • Free Gifts—Offering a free gift may be just the thing to convince someone to buy from your company. Gifts can be offered if your customer purchases a designated minimum order, and can be as simple as a tote bag or coffee mug.
  • Giveaways—Get customers into your business by offering a giveaway which requiring them to stop in to fill out an entry form for a chance to win the grand prize. Build your mailing lists by adding the entrants to your communications list (with their approval, of course!).
